After selling our property in the Adelaide Hills in 2008, we thought we deserved a bit of a break before our big move to Tasmania. With our possessions in storage, we ventured to Britain to spend two months travelling through England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.

On the way, we detoured for a week to surprise Michael’s brother, Patrick and sister-in-law, Radonna in Texas. They had no idea we were coming, the finer details having been cunningly organised with Radonna’s son, Drake. He had even arranged for them to have time off work. It was sad to say goodbye after a wonderful week but a whole new adventure lay before us. I look forward to sharing some of our memories with you.
